  • Description: Offers support to military veteran men, women and families, and transitioning service members through a variety of full wrap-around services and workforce readiness programs. The team works to develop a career path with job opportunities appropriate for each individual. Program services include: Veteran Peer Navigation: Veteran Peer Navigators work one-on-one with veterans to create an individualized employment and support plan to properly address and overcome challenges and barriers in employment. Job Training: Offers a variety of weekly/monthly workshops (virtual and in-person), Information Technology (IT), Professional Customer Service Training Program (nationally accredited), Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Security Industry Training, and much more. Career Readiness: Focuses on job search strategies and skills to enhance a veteran's resume, management of personal brand and image to get and keep their job. Job Placement: Staff and career coaches help track job leads to tailor the veteran's resume and cover letter to specific positions. Professional Wardrobe: All enrolled clients, with proof of a confirmed job interview, will receive professional wardrobe services to be prepared for interview day. Veteran Behavioral Health Peer Support: Offers trauma-informed care, behavioral health screening and assessment, case management, short-term counseling, evidence-based interventions, housing and employment support, and referral and linkages to community resources.
